Mumbai: Geethambika mandira Ghatkopar observes twentieth anniversary puja

Mumbai, June 15: The twentieth anniversary puja of Geethambika temple, Asalfa, Ghatkopar here was held on Thursday June 14.

Several religious rituals were held the entire day under the leadership of chief priest Vidwan Raghupathi Bhat.

Veteran hotelier and donor Gangadhar S Payyade was honored by Geethambika Seva Samiti president Kadandale Suresh S Bhandary, honorary chief secretary Dharmapal P Kotian and office bearers.



A yakshagana play 'Indrajithu Kalaga' sponsored by Gangadhar Payyade in memory of late Ramanath Payyade was performed in the night.

Service committee treasurer Vikram Suvarna, vice president Sathish K Shetty, Jayarama G Rai, president Suresh P Kotian, executive vice president Vittal Shetty and Beluvayi Sanjiva Poojary, joint secretary Sudhaker Shetty, joint treasurer Sachin D Jadhav, Saumya S Poojary, auditor CA Bipin Shetty, Yakshagana mandali convener Sunil Ameen, manager Prabhaker Kunder, women's wing, pooja committee and Bhajan committee members and hundreds of devotees were present.
