Bengaluru: Working on modalities, will announce farm loan waiver soon - Kumaraswamy


Bengaluru, Jun 15 (DC): Committed towards waiving farm loans, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today said that his government is working on the modalities of farm loan waivers.

Taking to Twitter, the Chief Minister said he wants to ensure that the loan waiver is developed from a scientifically-procured process so that it may benefit maximum number of farmers.

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said he is working on the modalities and will announce it shortly.


Days after swearing-in as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, H D Kumaraswamy met representatives of farmers groups in Bengaluru and discussed the problems faced by them.


“This government is not in the sleeping mode. We are at the work of Karnataka citizens,” Kumaraswamy said after the meeting of farmer leaders, top officials and the BJP to draw up the contours of the loan waiver.

    Kummu got the heat now ! He feel like "HOT BANANA PODI" by the way the it was not FITNESS CHALLENGE by our part time PM alias COLAMBUS urf VASCODIGAMA it was indirect challenge to save the govt with CONG if you can ? I am watching you !
