Mangaluru: Shakthi Residental School, PU celebrate World Environment Day

Mangaluru, Jun 13: World Environment Day was celebrated on June 5 at Shakthi Residental School and PU college.

Well known environmentalist Dinesh Holla was chief guest. He said, “Man's selfishness and greed has prompted him to destroy nature to fulfil his own desires. Destruction of nature means destruction of mankind and all living beings in the world”.



Prabhakara G S, the principal presided over the function. Baikady Janardana Achar introduced the chief guest and welcomed the gathering.

    Good to know that Shakthi is inculcating awareness of preserving or environment among the little buddies of the school on World Environment Day.Wonderful initiative by the Principal to involve well know environmentalist Mr.Dinesh Holla during this occasion.
    Let's pledge to save our nature on this occasion and save our mother Earth for our future generations.
