It's shame that these things happen in the modern world. The pictures on TV channels suggest that the police were given instruction to barge into the holy places (Church) of Christians. ... It is heard that almost all who were arrested by the Police are Christians... the vandals and the police who desecrated the Churches are protected by the BJP govt. in Karnataka

This is animal kind of treat to minorities. This should be corrected. If it fails to correct we will take the law in our hands.

I was shocked to hear on one tv channel, one police who was upset over people throwing 'stones at police' and expressed no concern whatsoever for what the culprits did to the holy place of christians. I fully agree with most of the readers that CNN, BBC should get this story.

The vandalism by a group of disillusioned / disoriented political outfit , is the handiwork of the present BJP Govt. in Karnataka.I tried desperately several times to speak to Mr.Krishna Palemar, Distict in Charge Minister of DK but his mobile was switched off as the recording said .

I did speak to the DC on 3 occassions, but he seemed helpless as I could guess considering the Govt.in the state ( ? ).

If the system in the state is such , the minorities have no place in this state . Also to mention the tear gas and lathi charge on the peaceful demonstration inside Milagres Church compound by the police. What is India coming to ?

Let the western world see the clippings on daijiworld.

Dear All, The one thing I know is we are all Indians, religion is something personal. All the Christians in India are patriotic, why do we punish everyone for someone's mistake. Are these incidents politically motivated? The churches or houses destroyed are loss for India.

Why do we get caught by politician’s tricks who control people in the name of religion. Why can't we have our own decision? Hindu and Christians have lived with peace and harmony for years and this must go on. I only wish peaceful end to all this confusion.
