Karkala: Woman living alone electrocuted

Karkala, May 26: A woman was electrocuted at Kerepalke in Nire village of the taluk on Friday May 25 morning.

The victim of the incident was Appi Moolya (60) from Kerepalke. Appi used to stay alone at her home. It is said that while switching on the pump to fill the water tank at her home, she accidentally came into contact with electricity and got electrocuted.

A case of unnatural death relating to this death was registered at the town police station.
