Rajkot, May 24 (TOI): A 17-year-old girl was forced to dip her hands in hot oil to prove she was not having an affair with her neighbour.
The accused Rahul Parmar and his wife Suman live in Bhagvatipara area of Rajkot and the minor girl is their neighbour. Suman was suspicious that Rahul was having an affair with the girl. On Monday, she asked Rahul and the girl to dip their hands in hot oil to prove they were not having an affair.
The girl sustained severe burn injuries while Rahul received minor injury. A complaint was registered by the girl’s parents and the couple was held.
