Congress approaches CJI for urgent hearing on Karnataka issue

New Delhi, May 16 (IANS): After Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala on Wednesday invited BJP legislative party leader B.S. Yeddyurappa to form the new government in the state, the Congress approached Supreme Court Chief Justice Dipak Misra for an urgent hearing on the matter.

Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi is the leading his party's challenge.

The Congress said the Governor denigrated his office, trampled the Constitution and acted as a BJP puppet.

Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala has invited Yeddyurappa to take oath as Chief Minister on Thursday morning at the Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru.

Mr. ABD from America....do you need any proof to say Supreme Court Chief Justice Dipak Misra is a puppet of BJP. But the sad reality is that he is the only one whom Congress can rely on knowing well that he will favor his bosses MODI and AMIT SHAH

I am bit confused. Congress + JD (S) have the majority figure even without the help of independent candidates but BJP got the invitation to form the government with 2 weeks to prove majority. Is the 2 weeks given to facilitate buying MLA'S from other party. Isn't it a mockery of the democracy?

Congress should send its leader to CJI who signed impeachment letter. BJP got 104 seats it will be mockery of the electoral system if they didn’t invited first. Proving majority should b in Assembly not in media or court. Still Congress not able to get signature of all MLAs. It seems they purposely prevented HDK from power. JDS MLAs are notorious party hoppers. Jameer also will jump. Wait for it.

Why are your tweets are always against certain community? Why Khan? My friend this a Secular Country and not some Pseudo Nationalist Country. If you can't accept something, you ofcourse have the right to Speak, and this freedom was maintained till now until BJP came, but don't take your frustration by tagging certain communities and that if you want to follow Ananth Kumar's constitution.

Sanghi or Pungi.......This is his duty to respond to the people and address the issue of the citizens. His salary is paid from the tax payer's money. If Modi govt tries to curb the democracy and constitution, then the people knows to how to fight back.

We Indians fought with British for many decades to get the freedom. So we know how to get our freedom back from the sanghis. India is not BJP's property. The attitude of the BJP may cause for the civil war in the country !!!

Hello ABD, first of all, you left India and living in the United States. I think people may not like Donald Trump but still, everyone has to follow his command. That means they have to obey the chain of command. The similar way Congress cannot create its own CJI but when needed has to approach the same person, and Congress is following the right way for justice. Now CJI can also act like BJP tamed Dog, and there won't be any surprise. Hope you better to come back and contest an election too. Please do not stay in the US and follow their culture. Hope now you understood why Congress approached CJI.

Governor is proved to be a sanghi!!!. Mark my words, What you are doing right now will boomerang on your face very shortly!! then dont cry like a baby!!!. Every time we hear, they too did it and so whats wrong if we do it, then whats the difference between you and others!!!????
