Bengaluru: I will form government on May 17, says Yeddyurappa

Bengaluru, May 16: State BJP president B S Yeddyurappa on Wednesday said he will be taking oath as the chief minister on Thursday, May 17.

Yeddyurappa, who was elected as the BJP legislature party leader earlier, is learnt to have said that the party will prove the majority in the Assembly and provide a stable government

Meanwhile, a delegation of BJP leaders, including Yeddyurappa and Union Minister Ananth Kumar, met Governor Vajubhai Vala and requested him to invite the party to form the government. Yeddyurappa submitted a letter to the Governor showing him that the BJP has 105 MLAs, including KPJP winner R Shankar.

KPJP MLA Shankar, who won from Ranebennur, is learnt to have extended his support to the BJP.

Meanwhile, Union Minister in charge of BJP elections in Karnataka Prakash Javadekar claimed that any the Congress and the JD(S) MLAs, who are unhappy with the Congress-JD(S) alliance, are ready to support the saffron party.

He denied accusation by JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy that the BJP was indulging in horse trading.

    Poor fellow ,Our Yeddyurappa wanted to become CM better day before yesterday than on 15th.He was so sure and already fixed the day to take oath on 17th.Now ?He fixed it already but members are less than required.Now collect whatever available.so now let us see what will be our next CM do for karnataka.Horse riding or Stall cleaning.

    Governor has the constitutional right to call the single largest party to form the Government. Then they have to prove their majority on the floor of the house. If they can't then he may call the post poll alliance to form the same. The hitch is that Congress offered JDS support with attractive incentive of Chief Minister ship and other Ministerial positions after the result was declared. Any how who forms the Government is hardly matters for D.K and Udupi district Congress supporters !!!! As they have to bear with BJP MLA's. Then why crib about Horse Trading and Governors right???????

    It's amusing to see the Saffron Party struggling to gather the required numbers. The man who is acclaimed by bhakts as the Pan-India leader , a man of Revolution, about whom Nostradamus foretold centuries ago, who as a boy killed an crocodile with his bare hands, who did meditation on Himalaya.....etc (many other things are under manufacture) cannot get a simple majority for his party in a state election.
    For a person who along with his partner held 21 rallies in the state, never lost an occasion to insult Kannadigas, never opened his mouth on development, stirred the communal chord, played on the dead people, wore Hindutva card on this forehead - this is a fitting reply given by the Kannadigas. Now utilize the money raked in Demonetization....Pathetic condition of a 'World Leader'!!
