Bengaluru: BJP leaders offered me ministry, says Amaregouda Bayyapur from Congress

Bengaluru, May 16: Congress MLA from Kushtagi, Amaregouda Linganagouda Patil Bayyapur, revealed on Wednesday, May 16, that he had received lucrative offers from the Bharathiya Janata Party (BJP) to switch his allegiance. However, despite offers of a seat in the State Ministry, Bayyapur said that his fidelity would continue to lie with the Congress.

“I got a call from the BJP leaders. They said come to us and we will give a ministry to you. We’ll make you a minister. But, I am going to stay here. H D Kumaraswamy is our Chief Minister,” said Bayyapur.

Earlier in the day, the outgoing Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah had also claimed that the JD (S) leader, H. D. Kumaraswamy would be the next CM of the Congress supported JD (S) Government in the state.

Siddaramaiah has also quashed rumours that a section of the MLAs of his party were unhappy over him joining hands with the JD (S), terming them as ‘baseless rumours’.

    This MLA is bluffing just to come to limelight to attract his party bosses. In case they form Govt to get ministry. First let him check what is qualification's to get ministerial post. He will be only a MLA doing nothing but money. He would not come out if he has been really contacted. Now one will see all this sort of news from Congis and Dalas.

    They fought each other one against another now coming together to get the CM post and power. What a shame on these political party's. Since they fought each other if any one of them is truly belongs to any party they must resign now as their party head is going for friendship with each other. They fought on individual agenda not tallying one anothers. So they must resign .
    I dont see any stuff in Leadership of Congress or Dal or BJP qualified person should takeover the mantle

Their agenda is to keep away BJP from power. Neither Kumaraswamy nor Siddaramaih has said that for the betterment of people they are forming Government. Because they cannot claim.
