Kundapur: Stones pelted again at Madamakki GP president's house

Daijiworld Media Network - Kundapur (SP)

Kundapur, May 15: The residence of Rajeev Kulal, president of Madamakki gram panchayat, who recently deserted BJP and joined Congress party, was stoned again on the night of Saturday. Kulal filed complaint about this incident in Amasebail police station on Monday May 14.

After Kulal announced his decision to change his loyalties to Congress from BJP, apparently peeved over the ticket given by the party to sitting MP, Halady Srinivas Shetty, miscreants had thrown stones at his house on May 7. In the complaint, Kulal said that on the night of polling, stones had been thrown again at his house.

Congress candidate from this constituency, Rakesh Malli, also visited the police station on Monday and urged the police to take appropriate action against the miscreants behind this incident.
