Karkala, May 16: Vijay Kumar (57) from Perdoor Kunjadakatte, who had fallen from a bus near Hiriyadka junior college and suffered serious injuries on Monday May 14, breathed his last on Tuesday.
Vijay Kumar was travelling from Udupi to Perdoor in a bus on the evening of Monday had lost balance and fell down from the bus after the driver suddenly applied the brakes. He had suffered severe injuries to his head. He had been admitted into Manipal hospital.
A case relating to this accident was filed in Hiriyadka police station. Vijay Kumar, who was a civil contractor by profession, and also a gifted dramatist, was popular on account of skillful portrayal of different roles.
