Mangaluru, May 15: Praveen Ajila Balya (38) from Madoor Balya near here, lost his life after the car in which he was travelling hit a roadside tree near Shivamogga on Monday May 14. The unfortunate incident had happened when Praveen was returning after visiting Mantralaya.
Paveen was employed in Margadarshi Chit Funds here. He had been on a pilgrimage to Mantralaya along with some of his colleagues in an Innova car. When returning, the vehicle carrying the pilgrims had met with accident near Honnali near Sagar on May 8. Praveen and another person had suffered serious injuries in the accident, while other occupants of the car had escaped with minor injuries.
Praveen, who was admitted into a hospital, breathed his last on the night of Sunday May 13. He is survived by wife.
