Hassan, May 14: Senior politician and former minister K H Hanume Gowda passed away here on Monday May 14.
Hanume Gowda, who was suffering from prolonged illness, was admitted to private hospital. However he failed to respond to the treatment and passed away here on Monday.
The mortal remains will be kept at his residence near Arvind School in Kuvempunagar.
Hanume Gowda was associated with the BJP and the Congress. He was elected as the MLA from Hassan assembly seat four times.
He had served in Veerappa Moily led Congress government's cabinet as minister in 1994.
