Riyadh: Yaqoob Fighters clinch MPL trophy

Riyadh, May 10: Mangaluru Premier League (MPL) under the banner of Mangaluru Cricket Association (MCA) Riyadh concluded on May 4. Team Yaqoob Fighters owned by Shahid Kolkar Udupi clinched the trophy by defeating Imtiyaz Udupi led Coastal Karnataka. MPL organizing committee members Ashraf Patte, Naushad Mottethadka and Shamshu Bailoor organized the post match presentation ceremony. Jolly Kudla officials, the mega sponsor for the event were also present.

As many as 6 teams participated in the mega event. All matches were played at MCA Ground Exit 18.

Imtiyaz Rajadhani led Coastal Karnataka with 9 points were on the 1st place, Satish SCFC & Ismail Optimum led Star Warriors with 7 points on 2nd place, Imtiaz and Siddik Kings Attackers led Mighty Mangaloreans with 7 points on 3rd Place and Shahid Udupi United Ullal led Yaqoob Fighters with 3 points on 4th place.
