Mangaluru, Apr 26: Father Muller Hospital Thumbay, a unit of Father Muller Charitable Institutions is all set to celebrate its 5th anniversary on May 1.
Addressing a press meet here on Thursday, April 26, Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director FMCI, said, "It is a matter of great joy to witness the seeds of hard work bear fruit. FMHT for the past 5 years since inception is indeed a great blessings t the people of Belthangady, Bantwal, Puttur taluks. It has become 150-bedded multispecialty hospital with various multi departmental OPDs, 24x7 services, newly introduced and upgraded diagnostic facilities, convenient and spacious general and private wards, canteen and other facilities including homeopathic and physiotherapy departments to create a holistic ambience for the patients.”
In order to mark the anniversary, Father Muller’s has organized various free health checkup camps in the month of March and April. On May 1, mega free health checkup camp, eye camp, free distribution of glasses, blood donation camp and evening public programme is also organized.
Dr U M Bhushi, principal, Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management will be the chief guest. Mangaluru Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza will preside over the programme followed by cultural programme.
On the occasion, special FMHT health card scheme will be launched as part of the 5th anniversary.
