Bagalkote: It’s final now – BJP’s Sriramulu files nomination from Badami, to fight against CM

Bagalkote, Apr 24: The BJP has decided to field B Sriramulu, a close aide of Janardhana Reddy, against Chief Minister (CM) Siddaramaiah from Badami. Sriramulu will contest Badami as his second seat now and challenge the CM in this OBC dominated constituency in Karnataka.

Sriramulu filed his nomination from Badami on Tuesday, April 24. He was joined by BJP president Yeddyurappa, union minister Prakash Javadekar and BJP in-charge of state Muralidhar Rao.

The party is still struggling to find a candidate and to take on Siddaramaih’s son Yathindra in the Varuna constituency in Mysuru district.

Badami is the second constituency for the CM as he has also filed his nomination from Chamundeshwari and is expected to take on GT Deve Gowda of the (JDS). Sriramulu had earlier filed his nomination papers from Molakalmuru constituency in Chitradurga district.

Reacting to reports on Sriramulu being fielded by the BJP against him from Badami, Siddaramaiah said, "Let them field anyone. I am not worried about who the opponent is. Elections are fought on ideologies and not between persons. We are fighting against communalism, we are fighting communal forces and we want to defeat communal forces."

    If people choose to vote for BJP in this seat, it is a clear indication that perception of word corruption has been changed. The corruption will no longer be a applicable word for scams, smuggling, black money, money laundering, crime or extortion.

    Sriramulu is a close aide of Janardhan Reddy, who looted Karnataka State by illegal mining by BSY's support. Enough is enough. Our country is heading towards bad economy. So it is a duty of every sensible Kannadiga to cast their vote carefully to save our state from looters this year and save our country in 2019 election fron BJP rule .
    Modi has started losing his charisma in India and abroad due to happenings in the country . No control over price rise of the commoditties, fuel and law and order. Small children and infants are raped and murdered by BJP supporters and even leaders. No acton initiated against them.

    There are enough miners and people of different interests in all parties. But how many looted the exchequer of 26000 crore in a position of power, erased state boundaries, and ships off ore openly from ports using his position in the ministry, and persecuted and silenced officials just for standing up for what is right?     It was Siddaramaiah who led a padayatra that put an end to the mining mafia's open loot of the state. Talk is that the mafia have now ganged up to take revenge against Siddu for closing their business.

    This is a personal war. What is tragic, and sickening, is that the looters are now backed by BJP leadership in the centre openly just for political gains. In the scenario where it is the Mafia versus Siddu, I'll always support Siddu. Karnataka cannot afford to go back to the old days.     Kannada is mom and tulu ,beary,konkani(but konkani's father is marati😁) is child of her.You cannot separate a child from her mother for your personal or political gains.

    Tuluvas script was always in kannada.HaleGannada is almost similar to tulu.Go read atleast one halegannada poem.You ll know it.Half knowledge is dangerous to brains.
