Karkala, Apr 24: After a truck encountered a brake failure and tumbled, its cleaner was killed. The incident happened on Monday April 23 at Yennehole in Marne village in the taluk.

Prakash Shetty (32), a local, died in the accident. The lorry was moving in reverse direction when it could not be stopped due to a brake failure. The vehicle then tumbled down as a result of which Shetty lost his life.
