BJP candidate Vedavyas Kamath vows to work for overall development of Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Apr 24: Mangaluru South BJP candidate Vedavyas Kamath said that he will work to build a clean Mangaluru and continue good developmental works undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi if he gets elected in the assembly polls here on Monday, April 23.

Addressing a press meet at the BJP office, Kamath said that BJP is the only party which gives opportunity for an ordinary party worker. "When we visited the people of our constituency, we could sense a pro-BJP wave and a good atmosphere is in favor of the party. Our PM Modi's developmental works have been appreciated and accepted by the people hence BJP will definitely win the polls.

"All the leaders, party workers will hold door-to-door campaign in the constituency and we will ensure the victory of our party. I have worked for the party for over 5 years and I am aware of the issues pertaining to the city. The main agenda of the party is to continue the good developmental works undertaken by PM Modi who is admired by the whole world. We are also highlighting the present Congress government's failure during our campaign in the coming days.

"I will make sure that the people of the city get basic amenities such as drinking water, construction of footpaths, scientific drainage system, and fair tax payment at the Mangaluru City Corporation," he added saying that the smart city project and the clean India mission will be carried forward.

He also thanked BJP national president Amit Shah and state BJP chief B S Yeddyuarppa for giving him an opportunity to contest in the assembly polls.

Corporator Roopa D Bangera, Cap Brijesh Chowta, Premnath Shetty were present.
