Byndoor: Out of control bus falls by its side at Byndoor - 16 injured

Byndoor, Apr 24: A private sleeper coach bus that was moving towards the town from Belagavi went out of control near KEB sub-station at Byndoor and fell by its side. The accident occurred immediately after the driver negotiated the circle at Byndoor at around  3.45 am on Monday April 23.

The bus had 30 passengers when it met with the accident. 16 passengers suffered injuries in the accident. Luckily, no one was killed. Umesh, Nandan Kamath, and Kishore from Mangaluru, Dhanushree from Belagavi and Anita from Dharwad suffered grave injuries.

All the injured were admitted into private hospitals in the town and Manipal as inpatients. A case about the accident was registered in the town police station.
