Udupi, Apr 24: The Supreme Court, on Monday April 23, granted bail to Rajeshwari Shetty, main accused in the sensational murder case of NRI entrepreneur, Bhaskar Shetty.
The Supreme Court however, has made the bail conditional by adding that Rajeshwari can be released from confinement once the 36 key witnesses who are yet to be examined in the district and sessions court here, are examined soon.
As examination of key witnesses will take long, Rajeshwari may have to wait for a few weeks before she can hope to become free.
Rajeshwari is the wife of Bhaskar Shetty. Her son Navaneet Shetty is also an accused in the murder case.
