Mangaluru: BJP candidate Vedavyas Kamath files nomination, says party sure to win 150 seats

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SB)

Mangaluru, Apr 23: Vedavyas Kamath, BJP candidate for Mangaluru South constituency, on Monday April 23 filed his nomination in the presence of a large number of supporters.

Just as Kamath and his supporters arrived, Congress Mangaluru North candidate Mohiuddin Bava's supporters were leaving the MCC premises. The supporters of the two candidates started shouting slogans and tension prevailed for a few minutes. The police intervened immediately and prevented clash. Bava had to leave along with his supporters without speaking to media.

Addressing the media after filing his nomination, Kamath said, "People will choose BJP as they are impressed by Modi's model of development and style of functioning. BJP should come to power in state in order to have a corruption-free government. BJP chief ministerial candidate Yeddyurappa is an able person who will lead the state in the path of development without any discrimination.

"I guarantee that BJP will win 150 seats in the state. For this to happen, I request the people of Mangaluru South to vote for me. I will work for the city and its people," he said.

Earlier in the day, Kamath along with his supporters visited Kadri temple and sought blessings.

Similarly BJP chief Amit Shah asked the party workers to work towards achieving the target of winning 150 of the total 182 seats in Gujarat Assembly polls. He said "Mission 150" would ensure that the BJP wins three Rajya Sabha seats in the state next time.

But in reality BJP only managed to get seven more seats than requisite numbers and got 'run out' in 99.

Thanks to EVM with 'Salami Fraud' they managed to transfer Congress votes 'NOTA' and secured marginal in most of the constituencies which they won.

My worst fear will this time is EVM fraud and Election Commision of India unbiased policies.

What Congress and JD(S) should consider serious about is the Amit Shah statement in Nagpur RSS headquarter were assured the Sangh Parivar functionaries of majority win for BJP in Karnataka even before the dates for polling yet to be announced.

Election Commision of India to date is fail to answer on following
    1. Microchip installed in every EVM imported from USA from a company owned by Indians who have linked with Gujarat Gas exploration scam of Rs20,000 crores.
    2. Mismatch of numbers in EVM procurement in a reply to RTI from Election Commision of India.Who and where are the additional numbers EVM? Do ECI maintains the serial numbers?
    3. Salami Fraud which can tilt the elections results.
    4. Verification of affidavit and disqualification process.
    5. Why the VVPAT need to be counted in closed door, when democracy in the past is done in front of all party representatives?
6.What is the percentage of VVPAT counted in last assembly elections in India?

Is Karnataka will have free and fair election this time?

Vedavyas Kamath is young and dynamic person with great vision for Mangaluru development as a smart city. He has done lot of social services and he has helped all communities as we all are Indians . People are fed up with corrupt old faces who play appeasement politics as a vote bank without any developments. Vedavyas will have landslide victory..

People of Mangalore are educated and are smart enough to think whom to vote. In central PM Modi is doing in Job well. Here in mangalore people have seen Sri JR Lobo's work. He has executed his 5 years term very well. He has dedicated his time for the development of mangalore city. so surely JR Lobo will be given another 5 years to serve the people of Mangalore. Best wishes to him

Mr.Kamath forget about winning 150 seats in Karnataka.....First of think about winning your own seat People have understood what is meant by Modis model of administration. Everybody in Karnataka knows what your Yeddy did when he was in power. Modis speeches and Yeddy administration does not match at all. Hence we can conclude Modi says one thing and does exactly opposite.
