Every Hindu is in favour of constructing Ram Temple, says VHP leader

Mathura, Apr 23 (PTI): International General Secretary of VHP Dinesh Sharma on Sunday said his organisation was committed to the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.

He claimed that every Hindu is in favour of constructing Ram temple in Ayodhya but that the matter is pending in the Supreme Court.

"Every Hindu is in favour of constructing Ram temple in Ayodhya. At present, the matter is a subjudice and let the judgment of the apex court come," Sharma said at a meeting in Vrindaban.

When asked what the VHP would do if the verdict is against the temple, he said, "It is for the Union government to see."

On reason of change of guards in place to firebrand leader Praveen Togadia, he said nobody is a firebrand in VHP and people are developed like that in organisation.

Nobody knew Togadia when he joined VHP, he sarcastically added.

    Here is my question to Mr. Sharma International president of VHP

    1. Under which Hindu king prior to Babri Masjid temple was built on the same spot?
    2. Ayodhya falls under western UP which was ruled by Awadh kingdom. When the Muslims are ruling the entire belt why would they choose Ayodhya to demolish to build Mosque over temple ruins?
    3. Why the approach to the settlement from two parties not based on Hindu Holy scripture?
    4. There are more than 1000 temples across India pre Chola period in dilapidated condition, Why VHP not taken up the restoration of those temples?
    5.Which Hindu holy scriptures gives the precise site of Lord Ram birth?

    This Ram Mandir is a political issue. For vote bank politics Mr. L.K. Advani along with his karsevaks demolished the Babri Masjid, because of which bomb blasts took place. Instead of harping on Mandir Masjid politics, why can't they build a charitable hospital or a big garden at the spot , and name it Babar Ram Park or Hospital as it suits the powers that be. When all the human beings have the same red colour blood why to use divide and rule policy?

    Not only every Hindu, all Indians irrespective of religion, will contribute for the building of Ram Mandir by respecting every Indians feeling. But the fringe groups of RSS/VHP/BD all have joined together by inciting violence, blood shed and demolishing the existence of the structure in 1992 December 6.
    What happened to Advaniji today, who was forefront for this Ram Yatra. Today he is sidelined to that extent, nobody want to talk to him.

    The question today is, the innocent blood spilled across India irrespective of religion, will give any blessing on this soil by building Ram Mandir or in that matter, any religious structure irrespective of religion.

    RELIGION IS OPIUM TO SOCIETY.

    Now that the LS elections are nearing, they have revived the temple issue. All these 4 years nothing was done about the temple. This is vote politics and people will sway, without even realizing that they are being taken for a ride again.
