Kuwait, Apr 22: Kuwait India Fraternity Forum (KIFF) expressed its deepest condolences on the sad demise of Justice Rajindar Sachar.
Rajindar Sachar was chief of the prime minister’s high level committee to report on Indian Muslims, widely known as Sachar Report. His name has become so familiar in community circles and acted as a source of inspiration for many developmental projects, due to this report.
Justice Rajindar Sachar was always the defender of not only minority rights, but the democratic and constitutional rights of all deprived sections in India. He was active in human rights movements and led many fact finding missions.
Throughout his life, he remained an enthusiast for civil liberties and human rights. So he will be remembered as the hero of Human rights said Thyif Ahmad, president, KIFF at a press release.
