Kundapur: Hit by tipper, motor biker dies on spot

Kundapur, Apr 22: In a tragic accident which happened at Tallur village near here on national highway 66 on Saturday April 21, a motor bike rider was killed on the spot after his two-wheeler was hit by a tipper from behind.

The deceased has been identified as Yogeesh (50), resident of Pinganigudde near Tallur. As soon as the tipper hit his bike, Yogeesh fell to the road along with his vehicle. Instantly, wheels of the tipper moved over his head, crushing it in the bargain, and killing him on the spot.

A case relating to this accident was registered in the traffic police station here. Tipper driver, Satish K Naik, has been named as accused.
