BJP's Muralidhar Rao's Hindi tweet to Siddaramaiah evokes strong reply in Kannada

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Apr 21: BJP national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao took a dig at Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on twitter. However, it’s Siddaramaiah’s reply that is leaving people in splits.

In a tweet in Hindi, Rao wrote what translates to, “@Siddaramaiah – After lot of effort you chose to contest from Chamundeshwari, but now that defeat is evident, you are planning to contest from another seat. Let me clear your doubts, not just two seats but whole of Karnataka will be Congress free”.

However, Siddaramaiah was quick to hit back with wit. In a tweet in Kannada, he wrote what translates to, "Tweet in Kannada or English, sir. I don't understand Hindi."

His response has gained appreciation from Kannadigas.

"I am a strict BJP supporter....but this time i will vote for Congress only because of this tweet... language above party any day....hats off sir!!!," wrote on Twitter user.

Another user tweeted, “There you go !! The Tweet of 2018 Karnataka Elections! 2 lines..strong enough for History to remember if we succeed in retaining the diversity of this great country, our India !"

Siddaramaiah is known for taking a strong stand for Kannada language. From demanding a separate state flag to establish Kannada identity to retaliating to the Centre for enforcing Hindi, the CM has not budged from his pro Kannada approach in spite of severe criticism.

Meanwhile, in Karnataka, speculations are rife that Siddaramaiah may choose Badami as his second seat to contest the upcoming polls. Badami has a strong presence Kurubas, the community Siddaramaiah belongs to. Though Dr Devraj Patil’s name has been named as the Badami candidate from Congress in the recently released first list, the B-form (required to be filed by a political party mentioning name of its approved candidate) to Patil has been put on hold.

The tweet in hindi was to please the north indian audience ( Rajasthan, MP and Chattisgarh), since the BJP has already given up on Karnataka with an ex jailbird as their CM candidate. BJP is frustrated and disturbed! Amit Shah, Javdekar, Adityanath and people like Muralidar Rao try to defame CM Siddaramayya but fail miserably! When you come to Karnataka respect Kannada language first Muralidar Rao, Amit Shah , Javdekar etc. You cant so easily take on Siddaramayya. Thats why PM Modi, Amit Shah , Yedyurappa and others are desparate. Even BJP fields 50 or 500 star campainers, I bet BJP wont get more than 75 seats, forget about its mission 150!! CM Siddaramayya is the strongest and the tallest leader of Congress! So dare not to defame or redicule him. Abi Muralidar Rao dar gaya kya?

What is National Language? Let me clear you Hindi is not Indian national language...

    India
Main articles: Languages with official status in India and Languages of India
India does not have a national language.[13][14]However, Hindi and English are used for official purposes of the Union and for use in Parliament.[15] There are 22 official languages as mentioned in article 343/1 of the Constitution of India.[16]. States of India were free to adopt one or more local languages for all or any of the official purposes of that state.[16] Today all 22 languages carry equal official status and Government documents can be in any of the 22 recognized official languages. This has been clarified by court rulings as well, as for example in 2010 the Gujarat High Court affirmed equal status to all 22 languages.[14][17] Currency notes in India typically carry the denomination in all 17 languages. However Hindi continues to be the single most important and predominant language of the country

Siddaramaiah's love to Kannadiga is fake. During recent reservation of medical PG seats to domicile kannadigas, he played his inherent double game and ensured that the Government lost the case in Supreme Court. He know how to play sensitive cards. Just note the full page paper advertisement in newspapers just before declaration of election. Indira canteen opened just on eve of elections are sourcing major funds from local bodies. Development is confined to advertisements and slogans. He supports openly private medical education lobby. Everything happen on percentage basis and, hence, a survey announced Karnataka Government the most corrupt Government in India. The Ahinda leader strongly believe in splitting Hinduism. His tweet on Hindi is another decoy to fool kannadigas. He may have failed to convince centre on Cauvery just because his ignorance to the language. The most unfit and corrupt Government Karnataka has ever seen. Let us elect an CM who have ardent love to Kannada but have proficiency and working knowledge in Hindi....!

Whatever BJP national leaders do to defame Siddu it backfires them.BJP's defeat is imminent in Karnataka.Better their leaders exercise caution before taunting our CM.At least that may help them to put up a fight.
