Mysuru: Communal clashes - stones pelted - police injured, prohibitory orders issued

Daijiworld Media Network - Mysuru (SP)

Mysuru, Apr 21: In an incident which happened close to the forthcoming assembly election, people belonging to two different communities clashed with each other at Kyathamaranahalli here on the evening of Friday April 20. Stones were pelted, and over five police personnel were injured. Stones were pelted at shops, and the administration issued prohibitory orders under section 144 to control the situation.

Kyathamaranahalli has always been known to be a sensitive area. On Friday, people belonging to a community had taken out a rally to protest against rape and murder incident at Kathua, Kashmir, which has rocked the nation. Some young rallyists tried to force shops to down their shutters during the rally, which was objected to by people from the other community. This gave rise to exchange of heated words between the groups. Some elders who intervened, pacified people from one of the communities and succeeded in sending them away, after which, youngsters forming part of the rally rushed into a nearby shops and threw away things found there. Angered by this incident, owners of the shops and some local men objected to it.

At this point, the situation threatened to go out of control as the men from both the communities seemed to be heading for physical fight. The police rushed to the spot in time and dispersed both the crowds. When MP, Pratap Simha, visited the area in the evening, a group of men prepared to pelt stones but the police thwarted them from doing so by wielding their lathis.

Thereafter, a crowd entered a Janaushadhi centre run by the government and threw away medicines found therein. At this, the police again caned the crowd.

In the stone pelting incident, police inspector of Vijayanagara station here, Anil Kumar, and over five other police personnel suffered injuries.

Till today so many rapes and murders had happened in this country since Independence... Even in our State same thing happened in many areas. You can not hold working Govt a total responsibility for this. What local authorities and police were doing ? Let them bring this crime under control by using their legal and judicial powers given to them to perform their duties. If a Minister/MLA or any Govt official do such crime people should revolt against them - without identifying their party/caste or religion. Why do loot mar and rob shops and burn govt property here in our State ? Have these people whose shops were looted are responsible for rapes happened in Kashmir ? Terrorists have raped so many women and childrens in Kashmir which is totally washed away without any notice by these protesters. Very bad and disgusted with the attitude of people. I do agree this should not have happened, but looting and fighting is not to be given importance while agitation... Hang those criminals like in Gulf countries then only PEOPLE OF SUCH MINDSET will understand the pain in doing such crime and the miseries of the vicitm and their family....
LAW AND JUSTICE should be strict in these type of cases,,

these people doesn't know for what purpose they are protesting. they don't have the full knowledge about the incident. if they know the reason they would have protested for so many such kind of incidents happened earlier. this is political motivated protest.

Only solutions is to have elections for the party candidates. From top to down. All this nonsense will stop. Once the people have voted for their candidate they automatically will get the ticket based on which they can stand for assembly elections.

in my opinion komu souharda vedike totally failed in creating good atmosphere between 2 communities. they used the name only for protesting against selected cases but not tried to build a good relationship between the communities.

....A crowd entered a Janaushadhi centre run by the government and threw away medicines found therein

Any guess who in this world can do this in the name of so called protest? but in reality hooliganism?

Let the thugs follow the progress in the case.... it is too complicated

Ra*e was not mentioned in the medical report..
Body was found not in temple but in jungle
temple is a 10x10 single room, where it is next to impossible to hide body for days.
key accused was not in Kashmir but far away in meerut writing exams.. exam attendance also in tat
The night before, power went off, and a mysterious bike came near Sanji ram hose and as soon as he noticed, they sped away
One of investigating officer who was included later, was in fact out of jail, with rape and murder charges.
Too many conspiracy theories, like a typical TV serial..

    Mr Jeevan Kudla,

The lesser you speak or comment the better for this nation. The moment you say or comment something a deadly calamity or catastrophe befalls on our nation and ourcountry is dragged into unwanted controversaries.

I remember very well sometime back when Jignesh Mehwal's article was published here, you had commented something like:
"......... and you will see the repercussions...". It sounded like warning note.

No sooner did you make the comment, a great catastrophe took our country in its grips and a baby girl of just 8 years was brutally gangraped and murdered by a bunch of two-legged girl-hungry aniimals. And once again PM Modi is shamed - our country is shamed.

WAS THIS THE REPERCUSSIONS YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT? If so, the repercussions are being seen everywhere nationallly and internationally.

So if you have the gift of foretelling about things that happen in the future, then please use it for something good.
