Bengaluru, Apr 17: At a time when political aspirants in all political parties are moving heaven and earth to get a ticket from their respective parties to contest in the assembly elections, Karnataka’s Minister for Planning, Statistics, Science and Technology M R Seetharam has decided against contesting from the Malleshwaram constituency in Bengaluru.

Seetharam, a sitting MLC from the ruling Congress party, is said to have called on Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President Dr G Parameshwara and expressed his desire against contesting the elections.

The ruling Congress party has given ticket to Seetharam to contest polls from Malleshwaram.

The BJP has fielded its sitting MLA Dr C N Ashwathnarayana from the constituency.

The Congress high command has reportedly instructed the State Congress leadership to withhold giving ‘B’ form to Devraj Patil, whose name was figured in the party’s list for Badami constituency in Bagalkote district.

Sources said the party was keen on renominating sitting MLA B B Chimmankatti instead of fielding a new face. Chimmankatti had opted to sit out if the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah desired to contest a seat from the northern Karnataka region.

Dr Parameshwara on Tuesday distributed ‘B’ forms to 120 candidates of the party for contesting May 12 assembly elections.

The KPCC President also met several Congress leaders who had been denied ticket to the coming Legislative Assembly elections.

You should not ask this question to them. Instead you ask yourself and your party people "Can any one of our BJP candidates do such sacrifice selflessly ?"
They only try to pull their fellow party candidates down. Tell your BJP party people to learn from this. Now can I ask you "who was the lawyer of one of PNB scamster Mehul Chokshi, who paid a huge sum of amount ". Its none other than FM Arun Jaitley daughter Sonali. Do you have anything to say ?
