Mangaluru, Apr 16: Coastalwood's top director Sooraj Shetty who is busy with ‘Ammer Polisa’ will work on his next directorial venture 'English'.
The film was planned much before ‘Ammer Polisa’, but was kept on hold. The film will be Coastalwood first crowd-funded film.
Sooraj had revealed earlier that 'English' will provide platform to local talents including singers and lyricists. According to the information provided last year on the film, there will be four songs in the film. Sandeep Balal will compose the music for 'English'. Mayur Shetty along with some new local talents will be given chance to try their hands at lyrics.
The very talented director had started his journey with 'Ekka Sakka' which was also a big hit. His second directorial 'Pilibail Yamunakka' did rock solid business with over Rs 2.5 crore in its kitty in fifty days.
