Karkala, Apr 4: Condition Monitoring Society of India (CMSI-Vishakhapatnam) NMAMIT Chapter had organized a technical talk on ‘Condition Monitoring of Critical Machines’ by Dr C G Ramachandra, professor and head, department of Mechanical and Marine Engineering, Srinivasa Institute of Technology, Valachil, on March 28, at NMAMIT, Nitte.

Dr Shashikantha Karinka, head, department of Mechanical Engineering, delivered the presidential address and highlighted the importance of condition monitoring in today’s industrial world and challenges faced by students when they join industry. The resource person of the function, Dr C G Ramachandra, gave a technical talk on objectives, causes and different types of condition monitoring.

Dr Srinivasa Pai P, advisor, CMSI NMAMIT Chapter, Krishnaraja Joisa A, PRO, NMAMIT Nitte, research scholars and faculty from the Mechanical Engineering department and about 15 student members were present.

Jason D’Souza, student member of CMSI Chapter, compered the programme. Dilip Kumar K, faculty coordinator of CMSI Chapter, coordinated the programme.
