Puttur, Apr 3: The students of Post Graduate studies in Economics of St Philomena College participated and won overall championship in university level intercollegiate Economics Fest ‘Waves-2018’ organized by department of Economics, Mangalore University on March 19, at Mangala Auditorium, Mangalagangotri.
The students participated in all the events. ‘Treasure Hunt’ team consisting Pavithra P and Vidhyashri H, secured the first prize. In ‘Budget Making and Presentation’, Rakesh Naik K won the second prize. In ‘Product Launch’, Vinay N B won the second prize. A team consisting of Praseeda and Pallavi has participated in ‘Quiz’. Shabana P participated in ‘Debate’.
Assistant professors of the department Pradeep K S, Mahitha Kumari M and Sandhya H coordinated the team.
