Mysuru: 'I made a mistake, but Karnataka voters won't' - Amit Shah on calling BSY corrupt

Daijiworld Media Network - Mysuru (DC)

Mysuru, Mar 30: Days after embarrassing BJP by calling his own party chief ministerial candidate B S Yeddyurappa corrupt, BJP national president on Friday delivered the denouement saying that though he made a mistake, the people of Karnataka will not.

Shah during his visit to Mysuru on March 30, said that though in a slip of tongue he said that Yeddyurappa government is corrupt instead of Siddaramaih’s, but the people of Karnataka will not make such mistake while voting in the election.

It may be recalled that addressing a press conference Shah made a blooper and said “If ever there is a competition on the most corrupt, then Yeddyurappa government will be awarded number one,”

Soon after the faux pas, the Congress was quick to taunt the BJP for 'speaking the truth.' "The Truth can never be suppressed. Even Amit Shah agrees that Yeddyurappa led the Most Corrupt Government ever,” tweeted the Karnataka Congress.

Another BJP leader Prahlad Joshi who translated Amit Shah's address, on the same day publicly said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will not do anything for the downtrodden like Dalits, poor, and backward classes and Modi will harm the nation.

The series of goof ups happened on the day Election Commission announced the dates of much-awaited Assembly polls. Karnataka will vote on May 12 and the counting and announcement of results will be held on May 15.

They are practicing Gobel's theory by telling a same lies hundred times!Amit Shah dont take p[eople of Karnataka for a ride. You have visited Kuvempu's Kavishaila for what? Are you ready to practice Kuvempu's Viswamanava philosophy? People are fed up with all your dramas. Enough your Sullubhagya(lies and fake news) to the people of Karnataka.

One speaks what is in his mind. Shah spoke his mind and stated what he thought about Yeddi. He indirectly endorsed Siddhu as the next CM. Now when a BJP leader discredits their own CM candidate as the most corrupt person, then even the people belonging to the party have to think twice before they cast their vote. I watched the video someone forwarded to me thru' Whatsapp and could not control my laugh.

Karnataka people roll give you a fitting reply.
Be he is Siddu or Yeddy, they are our Karnataka people and have gone good service in the office.
Pointing out a certain failed issues doesn't make one to criticise altogether.

It's very unfortunate thing to hear anti corruption speech from an accused , on bail. ...! It shows that a poor leadership in state BJP.

Amit Shah is a tube light made in Gujrat. Only trying to fool the people of Karnataka. Only once in 2008 not this time. But you were absolutely right when you said that BSY has won a gold medal in corruption. I mean first place and BSY was No. 1 in corruption. So Amit Shah was right no need of any correction.

First of all we Kannadigas thanks for Amit Shah acknowledging form CM Yeddyurappa corrupt who was on bail from jail for mining kickbacks and denotification.
But he is not only corrupt, he is directly held responsible for church attacks in Karnataka. What insulting to the injury is all the accused in the Church attacks are released and case represented by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leaned lawyers.
In his entire tenure BSY granted crores from state coffers and accused Congress for 'Bhagyas(Schemes')for poor.
He is also accused in his own wife's murder case which happened in his own residence water tank. His remarriage is still a mystery but inside his close circles new all his secrets which will used against him as per RSS dictat.
I would say Amit Shah gaffe against Yeddyurappa is deliberate. As per the internal news PM Modi wanted to lead someone from Puttur from RSS and state incharge.
But more surprises is waiting for BSY, who will be used till the elections and dumped for someone who is promising for 2019 elections to lead.

This is not the way of correction of mistakes/ political statement. Or both. We Udupi DK people are smart and intelligent. After two election gaffes, now protests at Amit Shah’s Dalit interaction in Karnataka.
Shah’s interaction with Dalits in Mysuru on Friday was marred by utter chaos and protests forcing the BJP President to distance his party from the statements made by his colleague Ananthkumar Hegde.

Angry Dalit leaders were protesting against Hegde’s remarks comparing Dalits and secularists to street dogs. Amidst continuous pandemonium, Shah was then forced to make a public statement distancing his party from the Hegde’s remarks.

Amit Shah is the party President of the BJP. Instead of distancing from Hegde statements, why BJP is not sacking him from the ministry? Is BJP compares' Dalit' of this nation to 'Dogs'?
In the past Hegde want to change 'Indian constitution', now compares Dalits to 'dog' , proud of insulting Muslims of this nation, proud of converting Christians.

Why BJP not officially 'apologize' the most untouchable of this nation for remarks?
Is Dalit leaders in BJP consider to be 'Dogs' taking commands from Brahmanical hierarchy?
Amit Shah is it not mistake truth from 'Dil ki baat'. We Kannadigas have enough 'Mann ki baat'?
