Mangaluru: Expert College students depart for US tour including NASA

Mangaluru, Mar 24: A group of 55 students from Expert PU Colleges of Kodialbail and Valachil Campus, Mangaluru are undertaking an educational excursion and 3 days training programme at US Space & Rocket Center (NASA) and other places of tourist interest in USA.

The group is led by Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice-chairperson and Ankush N Nayak, director, Information Technology of the Expert Group of Institutions.

The students were seen off by chairman of the institutions Prof. Narendra L Nayak, principal Dr N K Vijayan and other teaching and non-teaching staff from its Valachil Campus and they wished the students bon voyage.

The team will visit the US Space & Rocket Center (NASA) at Alabama, Olympic Park of Atlanta City, Aquarium in Georgia, University Campus of Stanford, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Holly Wood and the Universal Studio apart from other places of entertainment.

The group will return on April 1 after 15 days educational excursion.

The city based travel & tour organization, The Travel Terminal, has taken the responsibility of conducting this tour.

Expert P U College is conducting such excursions of academic interests to foreign countries every year for its students with a view to educate young minds by visiting and experiencing the world around.
