Mangaluru, Mar 23: Chrism Mass with blessing of Holy Oils was held here at Rosario Cathedral on Thursday, March 22.
The Chrism Mass was concelebrated by Mangaluru Bishop Dr Aloysius Paul D'Souza in the presence of Msgr Denis Moras, chancellor Fr Henry Sequeira, priests and deacons.
Over 220 priests renewed their vows on the occasion.
Fr Vijay Machado, director of Mangalajyothi center, moderated the mass. Fr Ronald Serrao, Jeppu seminarians along with Rosario choir group joined the mass. Fr J B Crasta rendered the vote of thanks.
The Mass was followed by blessing of newly erected Mother of Sorrow statue by the bishop.
