Kundapur: B P Dinesh Kumar takes charge as DySP of coastal police sub-division

Kundapur, Mar 23: B P Dinesh Kumar who was transferred from anti-naxal force took over charge here on Thursday evening, March 22 from Pravin H Nayak as deputy superintendent of police (DySP) of Kundapur coastal police sub-division.

DySP Dinesh Kumar assured of priority for the maintenance of law and order. “Actions will be taken for peaceful elections. Special attention will be given for traffic safety and safety of school vehicles. Strict action will be taken against all illegal activities,” he said.



B P Dinesh hails from Coorg and is a post graduate from Mangalore University. He has served in Moodugere, Byndoor, Mangaluru, Manipal, Lokayuktha and anti naxal force after joining police force.

He has been working as DySP in Kundapur for a year and nine months before getting transferred to coastal police force.
