Wanted criminal held in Delhi

New Delhi, Mar 21 (IANS): Police have arrested a criminal involved in over half a dozen crimes in Delhi, police said on Wednesday.

Hari Om Singh, a resident of Shahdara in east Delhi, was arrested on Tuesday night on a tip off after a brief exchange of fire on a road linking Seemapuri and Anand Vihar, said a senior police officer.

He was wanted in many criminal cases of heinous nature and carried a reward of Rs 1 lakh on his head. A pistol with three live cartridges was recovered from him.
