Woman operated upon in torch light in Bihar

Patna, Mar 19 (Zee News): In a shocking incident, a woman was operated upon in torch light at a hospital in Bihar as there was no electricity in the hospital at the time of the surgery. The incident occurred at Sadar hospital in Saharsa of Bihar.

A video of the surgery, released by news agency ANI shows the patient on a stretcher in an unconscious state, with many people gathered around her while stitches are being provided. The man seen operating upon the patient is wearing a khaki shirt instead of a white apron.

Reports said that there was no facility of generator at the hospital and hence the doctors were compelled to carry out the surgery in torch light. The incident comes days after a patient was operated upon in mobile phone torch light in Khagaria.

In a similar incident in December, there were reports of eye operation of as many as 32 patients in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh.

No clarification has been issued by the hospital till now. Government authorities are also yet to react to the incident.

Don't fake, appreciate the medium you are u sing to taunt. Before 70 years there was post card sent across, not comments sitting inside your office/house.

Mind you, it did not start since May 2014.

"Present government already seized Rs.8000 crore from Nirav and chokshi's property. koi bach nahi sakega iss govt.ke nazaar se..sirf bhag ja sakhta hai...kali haath."

    (1) The present government also dictated Mallya to say "you have confiscated sufficient of my assets to cover my debt" Wait for the same for same from Nirav too.

    (2) Congress didn't just cease property, but jailed Sahara owner. But BJP not only helped LaMo flee also gave humanitarian help abroad.

BJP's major concern is to spread their rule throughout India and create some unknown blunders but some jolt has crippled their ill intentions. Such things are invited. Without strong opposition citizens will be like peanuts under one man show with authoritarian rule. Rule with concern for people and not force people to terms.

In DK and Udipi, most of the people have inverters at home, for fans and light. Small shopkeepers have small LPG (commercial cylinder) run generators. Then what are we hearing in UP and Bihar ? Operating in a hospital by mobile light or torchlight ? On and above that, there are so many problems in hospitals there. UP and Bihar do not look like a part of India.

    Ivar,

4 years were no sufficient to give 24 Hrs. electricity but what is sufficient is to make :
Revenue from company owned by Amit Shah’s son could jump from just Rs 50,000 to over Rs 80,00,00,000 in a single year.

Why did the watchman wait for 4 years to put it out ? Afraid it will come out next year and all the halo gathered around him will get washed out when the news comes that 'the governance with a difference' is no different that Congress ?

You either agree that BJP did nothing to stop the Ghotala, or the government does not come to know anything these banks do (applies to Congress too then because that the reason why it did not come out during its rule)
