Jethmalani calls for Mamata-led third front to 'oust' Modi

Indore, Mar 18 (PTI): Renowned lawyer Ram Jethmalani today called for the formation of a third front led by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to "oust Prime Minister Narendra Modi" in the next Lok Sabha elections.

Both Congress and BJP governments have been deliberately apathetic to the recovery of black money stashed in "Germany and other countries", Jethmalani said, speaking to reporters here.

"They have committed a joint crime of cheating people. Therefore, the third front of honest leaders is needed," the former Union Law Minister said.

"I want Mamata Banerjee to lead the third front to oust prime minister Narendra Modi in the next general elections. Mamata has the ability to be the prime minister," said Jethmalani, a one-time Modi supporter who later became the prime minister's bitter critic.

The senior lawyer also criticised Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and the NDA government over their policy on black money. The NDA government has no right to stay in power, he said.

The nation has seen the so-called third front in 1996-98 with 2 PMs in 2 years. Their only objective was to keep BJP out of power. People know the integrity of Mamtaji who fought for Railway Ministry during the tenures of both ABV and MMS in exchange for support to BJP and then to Congress.

Is this man to be trusted? As a lawyer he has defended the worst smugglers and corrupt politicians.
He definitely is a BJP agent trying to divide the votes and wanting to get them back in power again with 30 percent votes.
Such lawyers are why lawyers are called "liars".

Leave aside black money, even in areas of personal integrity, how low are our politicians. Even Modi's BA degree, Delhi University gave evasive answers.

In contrast to this, see the quick answer by Poona University in another case. In Toronto, one Indian aged 55 with M.Com. degree was appointed recently and while checking they found that in his B.Com mark sheet, he secured 36 marks in one paper as against 40 passing marks. Company wrote to University and (even the difference between his passing B.Com and now is 35 years), University after checking replied both his B.Com and M.Com are genuine. Again when company asked to explain, University wrote back attaching paper on the university rule, that said "Under Section 4 of condoning deficiency, a student passing all papers with high% is condoned if there is a meagre deficiency in one paper and will be declared as passed." Why Delhi University cannot answer like this in Modi's case ?

    Clifford
One person in our housing society is an MA of Poona University. He secured 48% and then it was a pass class. Now, some universities including this University have made 45% as second class for post graduates. Our man wrote to university, whether his 48% then can be considered as second class, University promptly replied "No' since the rule prevailing at his exam time is applicable to him.

Yes..people are disillusioned by Modi govt.Reason us quite evident...common man's interest thrown to winds in last four years. Many gimmicks during the said period.Main obstacle in.midi govt and for creating anti Modi wave is mr.Jailtly .... Jaitly is great danger for BJP for all the times. Most benificiaries under Modi rule are the big corporates like Ambani and Adani. These lot has made Modiji acscspe goat...yes mistake is from Modi side..for election campaign in 2014 he took anormoys support from them and in turn they gave reaped the benefits.Commin man feels that he is left in lurch...it doesn't mean that he is disliking BJP.people still are with BJP and .It is better ,even now time is not late to reach out to common man.Do something for senior citizens, retired persons, agriculturists, common middle class people.Ni need to explain what us needed ...people are the masters.Act quickly and settle the matter....lest 2019 will be again a disaster for the country.

When even Pakistan has acted on Panama papers and other black money issues, India not taking any concrete action, is clearly gives credence to Ram Jethmalani's remarks that "Both Congress and BJP governments have been deliberately apathetic to recovery of black money."

Any united opposition or third front without the Congress party will be a failure even before it starts.
There are states where there are no regional parties having any real weight and where it is a direct contest between the Congress and the BJP. States like Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Haryana. Of course, then there is Punjab where Congress is faced with a BJP ally.
Where are the seats going to come from for the third front from these states if the Congress is not included in the third front ?
Anna Hazare, KCR, Jethmalani are basically just helping the BJP for 2019 LS elections nothing else. Mamata must beware of such people.

No need of Third front... Last time FEKU formed Govt with 30 percent odd votes with extension use of media and spreading lies. Now, his Fekugiri has been exposed and next time people will not fall for his dramas and jumlaas so easily. Also, his own allies like TDP, SS, JDU, LJP etc are planning to jump out of NDA!
On the other hand... people have started taking Rahul Gandhi seriously, which is worrying factor for BJP!!

Afterall.. whatever FEKU has his fan following, 60 percent out of it proved fake!!!

DAKU and gang must sweat it out a lot, to spread hate politics nationwide.
