Hubballi, Mar 18: Weeks after Congress MLA’ N A Haris’ son Mohammed Nalapad embroiled himself in a controversy by attacking a man along with his friends in a restaurant, a BJP leader’s brother here created ruckus at a bar on Saturday, March 17.
The incident occurred at Green Gate restaurant near Court Circle. According to reports the BJP leader’s brother who came to the bar along with his friends thrashed three waiters at the restaurant black and blue.
Reportedly the leader’s brother picked up a fight with the bar employees as drinks were not served late night. Abhijith, one of the waiters at the bar was reportedly attacked brutally with an iron rod by the gang.
When the Upanagar station police rushed to the spot, the BJP leader’s brother and his friends escaped from the bar.
It may be recalled that brutal attack by Mohammed Nalapad on a man at a restaurant few weeks ago had triggered political backlash from the opposition.
