Hassan: 24 staff deputed for one student appearing for Tamil paper

Hasan, Mar 17: Exam season took over Karnataka this month with the commencement of PUC exams. Surprisingly only one examinee attempted the Tamil paper here at government pre-university college in Belur on March 16.

Interestingly 24 persons including invigilators and supervisors were deputed for the invigilation duty at the centre.

The examination which was attempted by MES college student G Nivitha was held from 10.15am to 1.30 pm on Friday.

The examination centre invigilator and the college principal N Chandrashekharaiah confirmed that there was indeed 24 staff deputed at the centre for a single examinee.

Karnataka second PUC final exams began on March 1 with Economics and Physics and will conclude on March 17 with English.

According to the Department of Pre University Education (PUE) of government of Karnataka, nearly 6.5 lac students have appeared for the exams.

    Good news..Student has been respected... Japan Railway board decided to run train service in one remote area for only one girl student till she finished her education..Whole Nation supported Railway's decision..It is a burden but increases the value of organization.

    Waste of energy and resources! Does 24 staff required to supervise one student?
    In some places there are no teachers at all to teach, one or two teachers running the whole schools, here it is entirely opposite.

    Dear All, This is OUR KARNATAKA!!!All Indian Citizens can EXPECT Equality & Justice here. Every student have the right to choose her/his optional language, if school /college provides in its syllabus. Kindly don't comment like we are in Yogi's UP!!!!
