Chitradurga: Countdown for Modi government has begun - Siddaramaiah

Chitradurga, Mar 15 (DHNS): Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday said that the countdown for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's regime had begun.

He was speaking at the inauguration of various development projects at Hosadurga.

"The BJP received a severe setback in the Uttar Pradesh and Bihar Lok Sabha assembly by-elections as it lost four of the five seats, including the all-important Gorakhpur and Phulpur seats in Uttar Pradesh. This indicates that the people no longer trust Modi as he often tells lies," Siddaramaiah charged.

The BJP suffered a setback on the home turf of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while losing deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya's constituency too. Samajwadi Party candidates have clinched a win in both Gorakhpur and Phulpur constituencies. The voters in Uttar Pradesh have favoured the Samajwadi party. With the results, the countdown for Modi to step down has begun, he said.

True. The countdown has begun. The entire central cabinet has become a bunch of Court Jesters praising the PM all the time and afraid to speak their mind. Development has taken a back seat. Unemployment is on the rise. Demonetisation has killed 70000 SMEs in one stroke. Fruits of demonetisation are blank. Looters are freely flying over 7 Race Course Road and leaving the country. The scorecard is zero. Wherever the BJP is in power people are disillusioned. In new arena, bluffs are believed as true and a chance is given. Anti-incumbency is the only factor for the BJP to win in Tripura. Political witchhunt against the opposition is shocking. Minority bashing is on the increase. People are on their knees pleading to God "Put an end to this ordeal" caused by the Central Government.

I just saw how much Votes Congress got in Gorakhpur and Phulpur got .Congress has got just 2% of the votes and thus have lost deposit in both the places
Loosing deposit is so bad .Not only this Congress has lost about 3% of votes they got last time
Just got about 18 to 19000 Votes
Thus Congress has to worry more than anyone else and Countdown for Congress has begun both in Karnataka and Centre

Doctorji, you are just like your masters who try to divert issues rather than facing them!. The question here is not of congress!. Both constituencies were stronghold of BJP since decades! More than that they were that of poster boy Yogi and his deputy!!!. So important thing is losing your stronghold! despite the fact that central and state leaders had poured all their time and money into these two constituencies!. If the EVM's were not rigged, the defeat of BJP candidates would have been miserable!!!

Kamath: why are you worried about Congress, congress is a looser as you have rightly said but BJP is fast catching up with Congress they have lost all the by- election held so far, and Gorakhpur that yogi won it 5 times so said BJP leaders that no one can defeat yogi in Gorakhpur, if it was not for evm than the defeat in terms of number of votes would have been much more, so stop worrying about Congress and start worrying about BJP keep your medical kit ready chaddis may need you any time.

Alfria .My Medical Kit is always ready for both Chaddies and Chaddiless
But here the question is about Count down .Count down means you start counting 10 ,9,8,.... like that .First thing to go will be Congress Govt in Karnataka because elections will be held in April-May 2018 and thus will surely go first
Second thing BJP has bigger numbers and more time almost 1 year for elections and most likely will be reelected .But with Congress no one want to ally with in elections is a cause of worry .SP if they would have allied with Congress would not have got any votes they feel .BSP also same
In Bihar JDU allied first then after 18 months just left them
In Karnataka BSP has allied with JDS and not Congress .In Meghalaya in spite of getting 21 seats no one wants to ally with them .In Goa ,Arunachal also same .I think honsetly it is cause ofdeep worry

And feel happy that BSP has aligned with JDS because now they are only bjps hope.

Somebody should tell Siddu, SP/BSP candidate won the by poll election in UP, not Congress. People of Karnataka are not going to decide based on by poll election result of other states. Lingayat politics in north Karnataka, instigating communal violence in DK and killings of honest officers are enough to decide on Congress Government.

Mr. Sri, with due respect.... your friend Modi is so so intelligent that India has fallen to sixth richest country in the wrold from the third richest country within a span of four years of BJP rule, And the fun is Amabani , his friend become RICHEST IN ASIA. If Modi remains there for again 4 more years, AMBANI WILL BE RICHEST PERSON IN THE WORLD AND INDIA WILL BE 12TH RICHEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. To repair this damage of Modi to the Indian economy India needs decades to recover.. Hope, you understand economy... GDP was 8.27% then, now it is below 5.00% (inflated figure of BJP shows 6.25% clearly shows how India has fallen from 3rd to 6th richest country in the world).

Absolutely right. The count down has begun big time starting from UP knocking out the CM and his deputy in one shot followed by Bihar. In Rajasthan BJP is just one kick away from the door step. In Gujarat uncertainity for BJP is growing at 56" rate. Maharashtra, Goa and the north east are already showing huge resentment towards BJP. By May 2019 BJP will be a distant past bitter dream and a lesson learnt.
