Oman Tuluver Family Sports to be held on Mar 15, 16, 23

Oman, Mar 14: Oman Tuluver, the renowned socio-sport entity of the entire tulu speaking community here has rolled out its fifth event ‘Oman Tuluver Family sports 2018’ on March 15, 16 and 23 at Muscat Sports Club, Wadikabir.

After the super success of last year, a record number of Tuluvas have registered this year and are raring to show their sporting ability in team games namely box cricket, volleyball, tug-of-war, throwball for both men and women.

The fixtures for the events were picked by lots on March 2 at Hotel Udupi Home hall MBD in the presence of enthusiastic captains and managers of all teams.



The fixtures event started with lighting of the lamp with different community representatives following the Q & A session with Oman Tuluver organizing team on formats and rules. The fixtures was conducted smoothly due to the efforts of the Oman Tuluver committee members.

The event concluded with a round of traditional Udupi snacks followed by vote of thanks and wishing the teams the very best with the message of participating with true sporting and Tuluva spirit. All the teams are looking forward eagerly to the upcoming event.
