Mangaluru: Congress DK dist chief secretary Abdul Sattar sacked over allegations of 'misbehaviour'

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Mar 13: Congressman Abdul Sattar has been sacked from the post of Dakshina Kannada district Congress chief secretary for allegedly behaving inappropriately with a female corporator.

It is said that there was war of words between Abdul Sattar and corporator Pratibha Kulai during a meeting of the local Congress office-bearers at Suratkal on Monday March 12. It is even claimed that Pratibha Kulai assaulted Sattar for allegedly misbehaving with her. However, Sattar dismissed the claim.

Nevertheless, news of Abdul Sattar allegedly behaving inappropriately with Pratibha Kulai went viral on social media. Taking serious note of the issue, Dakshina Kannada district Congress committee president Harish Kumar on Tuesday March 13 issued an order dismissing Sattar.

Meanwhile, Sattar has lodged a police complaint with the Suratkal police station against those spreading rumours about him.

All FEKU and their acts are captured on public domain and people have alredy made up their mind to sweep congress from this state too... Woman teasers, frauds, criminals, murders are sponsored from this party with difference...Fooling people all these years as poor/backward/sc/st/upper class and dividing on religion/caste, shaivas, lingayath etc. is only achievement of this Govt. MLA's son at Bangalore attack public and here a congress worker tried to tease elected rep. from their own party... what is left is - NO MANNERS and RESPECT for public.

Yes, the Congress culture of taking immediate action even against members of their own party for misbehavior.

Good work, Congress. It's nice to have a party that wants to move India in the right direction.

On the other hand, we have the other party who is only interested in protecting its goonda members.

    Yes.. Congress sacks good people
    and BJP promotes good people

But Congress sacks bad people only during election time... why?
If not, why Sattar was not sacked 3 years before, when same Pratibha Kulai gave complaint?
