Now, Lord Hanuman's statue desecrated in UP

Ballia(UP), Mar 8 (PTI): A statue of Lord Hanuman was desecrated in Uttar Pradesh's Kharuav village, triggering tension in the area, police said on Thursday.

The incident comes amid an ongoing spate of incidents targeting statues and busts of known figures across the country.

Station House Officer, Nagra, Ram Dinesh Tiwari, said the statue was damaged on Wednesday and a poster was also found pasted on it.

The police have lodged a case against unidentified persons on a complaint by Kharuav village chief Dushyant Singh, he said.

The officer said that the matter is being investigated. No arrests have been made, Tiwari, said.

The vandalisation of the Hanuman statue comes after a series of incidents targeting statues and busts across the country.

In Kolkata, a bust of Jana Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee was damaged on Wednesday following the razing of statues of Soviet icon Vladimir Illyich Lenin in Tripura.

The bust of Dravidian movement founder E V Ramasamy Periyar in Tamil Nadu's Vellore was also desecrated triggering widespread protests across the state.

This sudden spike of communal violence is related to the simountaneouls election for Lok sabha and Rajya Sabha proposed by PM Modi himself. Election commision of India which is directly taking orders from PMO despite autonomous body has already given its nod of full preparation by September.

Election commision deliberate withholding the date of Karnataka assembly election and center is requesting to postpone the elections to the state seems something is really propping behind. There is also all Chief Minister meeting with Prime Minister in Delhi indicates that PM Modi and Amit Shah has bigger plan which has failed in policies and wanted to hold the seat at any cost.

There are Two Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh going for polls which was vacated by CM Yogi and his first time deputy. CM Yogi nearly completely one year in office has failed miserably other developing 'Hindutva'.
So toppling Lenin, damaging Periyar statue, desecrated Mahatma Gandhi and Lord Hanuman is wider part of the poll preparation in advance.
For Kannadigas this is common and have experience in the past when cow head found in temple and pig in the Mosque to create enemity for vote bank polarisation.
I would request all Kannadigas to extra vigilant in the coming days as state is going to polls. If such incident occur let Muslim and Hindu unite clean the worshiphouse of each other in the presence of media and law enforcement authority to weaken the forces of communal hatred.

One side we are celebrating nutrition day in favour of children but on the other hand we dont mind harming a human until death. See the destruction one after another?? Modi is doing everything to make india shine . (Also creates confusion)
You are downgrading Russia then why India needs their help or cooperation ?
India is great and powerful but we cannot put a fullstop to cross border incusion and attacking our people.
In India even WHP boss writes PM what and how to impose rules. Where we are ? Our wealth from banks is looted and lacs of crores bad loans or defaulters will make the banks cashless one day. where is control?
PM is worried how to get rid of congress in KARNATAKA.

Flavy..Looting spree going on from the days of congress and it's not new.
Only thing you people ignored on that time. We know very well eventhough a rich country what benefit given to aam adami...in terms.of water..electricity. shelter..food ..medicene..and other necessity things. Most of public sector government undertaking was running on losses. One.thing well done by congress..given chance for one and all involved in corruption and loot respectably.

Harshad Mehta...Ketan Parekh..to Abdul Telgi all under.the.influence of congress regime and given free hand to loot...along with underworld people. Now somewhat under control.

Stop building Statues!! Build the Nation.
Wasting crores of money in billions , in a country where,
30 % of our population lives under International Poverty Line (highest in the world according to World Bank), over 12,000 farmers commit suicide every year, 95 % of our government schools don't meet Right to Education basic norms.
Sheer wastage of money on building statues and other show-pieces, instead of building the nation:
Statue of Unity of Sardar Patel, Gujarat (2014-2018) ~ ₹2,989 crore
    Shivaji Statue, Maharashtra ~ ₹ 3600 crore
Temple at Meerut with your 100 ft. statue ~ ₹ 30 crore
Deen Dayal Upadhyay Statues in all districts ~ ₹ 100 crore
    Bullet Train ~ ₹ 1,50,000 crore
Ram Museum, Uttar Pradesh ~ ₹ 225 crore
100 mt. Lord Rama Statue, Uttar Pradesh ~ 195.89 crore

We the responsible citizen can change the mindset of Politicians.

Such acts were expected. Every action there is equal and opposite reaction.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar already advised as to the fact that not invite Syrian type of civil war in India. The politician should wake up from their remote ways of treating or propagating ill of other religions or faiths.
There should be a limit in trying impose rules upon others and trying re-write history

I remember reading the following, soon after the election results in Tripura :
"Tripura: At 2.30 pm Monday, 48 hours after the assembly election results were announced, celebrating BJP workers and supporters brought it down with the help of a JCB amid cries of “Bharat Mata ki jai’’

BJP party leaders should have condemned this act from the party supporters but since it did not happen, the trend spread to other states and now it has promoted to spiritual statues too. Nobody knows who damaged the idol of Hanuman, but I say, BJP deserves it.

Clear the mess created by your party workers before its too late.
