Bengaluru: Mother-son 'kidnapped' by police inspector fall from fifth floor to death

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Mar 7: A mother-son duo of north Karnataka origin died after falling down from the fifth floor of an apartment complex at Belathur, Kadugodi here on Tuesday March 6.

The deceased were Sundaramma (60) from Shahapur in Yadgir district, and her son, Mounesh (36). The fact that they fell from the flat belonging to Chandrappa, working as inspector in Kolar district crime intelligence bureau, has given rise to a number of doubts.

Mounesh, working as conductor for Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation at Yadgir, was in love with Manjula, sister of Chandrappa, it is said. Their love was mutual. Chandrappa had invited the mother-son duo to the city five days back to speak about this matter, it is gathered.

Manjuula was studying in Yadgir in the past, and both knew each other. Manjula had later come to Bengaluru. When she went back to Yadgir for appearing for B Ed examination, she had fallen in love with Mounesh, it is said. After they came to know about this, parents of Manjula had advised Mounesh to stay away from Manjula and had issued him warning. Still, the two had once eloped, it is said.

The family of Manjula is dead against the alliance as Mounesh belongs to a caste which is other than the girl's. Moreover, he had been married once. In the past too, Chandrappa, who was working as inspector in Kadugodi police station then, had summoned Mounesh to the station and issued him warning in this matter, it is said.

It is not government responsibility. It lies in our house and surrounding where even senior citizens who has to guide this generation, give priority to casteism. If anyone from family members doesn't follow casteism, they are type of expelled from family matters. This is a disturbing truth which exists in almost all household, whether literate or illiterate.
    Please abolish casteism.

    Money takes first place,

This statement makes me ask to the society out there who create communal riots in the name of religion!! In this case, both of them belong to Hindu community then what again belong to different caste?? Within Hindu community only people don't have any respect and consideration; then why the hell you people fight against Muslims or other eligion saying girl is a Hindu and guy is a Muslim or something??
Now where are you all sleeping people Bajrang Dal, HJV, SRS, VHP etc etc?? Now you all protest against this?? Can you all? Mrs Shobha Yediyurappa, Mr Nalin Kumar Kateel, Mr Ananth Kumar Hegde now protest against this case?? Now do road show or block the road?? Can you all do?? You all are fit for nothing people.. You people are disgrace to the Hindu community.... to the society....as well as a elected members to the constitution of India!!!! Shame on you all.....

It looks like Police Inspector has killed them by pushing from the upper floors. Police Inspector should be punished for the crime (Kidnap & murder). He should be terminated from the service with immediate effect. Such a officer is not fit to be in the police department who is still divisive on caste.
