Bengaluru: 'No Modi wave in Karnataka, BJP should worry' - Siddaramaiah on Tripura poll results

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Mar 4: Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday March 4 asserted that the Assembly election result in Tripura, where BJP wrested power from the Left, will not have any impact on the impending Karnataka elections, and said that there was no Modi wave in the state.

Taking to Twitter, the CM said that in the midst of all the media speculation about Karnataka elections post Tripura results, people should remember the Assembly segments BJP has lost since 2014.

"Post #Tripura results there is excitement in media about the results’ implications for Karnataka. Since 2014 Lok Sabha results #BJP has lost Assembly segments in over 50 Lok Sabha Seats & has won only about 2 LS seats.

"So let us not lose perspective: there is no Modi wave here," he tweeted.

He followed it up with another tweet taking a dig at BJP president and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa who went to jail over corruption charges during his tenure as CM.

"@BJP4Karnataka has to worry about convincing voters here how former #JailBird @BSYBJP who presided over mining loot, illegal denotification of Bengaluru lands & cash-for-MLA scam called OperationKamala, can provide stable corruption free governance," Siddaramaiah tweeted.

Earlier on Saturday March 3, the chief minister speaking to reporters at Hubballi airport expressed confidence that Congress would retain power in the state. "The BJP is claiming that Karnataka will be free from Congress. But, the state will be free from BJP," he said.

He added that the outcome of elections in the northeastern states will not affect poll results of Karnataka..

During the initial days,Modi wave was quite apparent and ubiquitous through the country and people were ecstatic with the whole nation in a festive mood. However circumstances do change if the results are not delivered as promised. His actions like Repeated foreign trips, misogynistic statements and selfies make things even worse for him.

This time it is not easy for Congress to win in Karnataka... CM might say No Modi wave here and still worried about the sudden MODI TSUNAMI that appear with out telling any body... We have seen serial crimes in Bangalore, Attack on Hindu/Muslim/Christians all together... Also have seen how politicians like Shiv Kumar and others made money in Crores... MLA giving Saree as Bribe etc etc... this shows Congress is not sure of winning so easily. Look at what our PM has done in public domain... Opening of Bank A/c, Ins. Policy, Subsidy and all Govt facility directly linked to Bank a/c, no middle man, No corrupt officers, Digital India, Gas Subsidy, Education subsidy, JAN DHAN and secured border and more strength to our Armed forces... More friends in our neighbour and world around... So if you have such a vision of our country then only we could see these changes done in minimum 3 yrs..
So.... CM is scared of some wave .... which might make all his plans upside down...

What the country has witnessed since 2014 is unprincipled politics practised by the BJP all across the country and as recent in the North East which would have serious repurcussions for our beloved country in the future. Both Modi and Amit shah are street smart politicians what our country needs are statesmen like Vajpayee that will unite our beloved motherland. Politics are going from bad to worse and the party with a difference is no different only power hungry mongers with could not care less attitude about our beloved country.

The people of Karnataka will have to choose the lesser evil between Peace, Harmony and Tranquility and Chaos and Mayhem that is being witnessed in the north.

Living miles away overseas one does not get the stench of communalism from up close. A Modi ardent supporter will only remember IIT Dharwad and conveniently ignore the list of Modi government's empty promises, economic blunders/failures like GST and demonetization, growing huge unemployment, farmers in distress, renaming of Congress/UPA schemes and passing them off as their own, Jay Shah's mysterious prosperity, Jusctice Loya's suspicious death, mob lynching on the rise, fleeing of Chota Modis and Mallya, Rafale crony deal, growing romance with many in section of the media, complete disregard for ethics and democratic values to win elections etc.etc.
What about the the other IITs, IIMs, IISc, AIIMS etc ? Were they started by BJP ? What about the dams across India ? What about the airports, seaports etc ? One may support whoever they wish to but making an unfit, incompetent under achiever look like some hero is pathetic.

    Mr.

Modi is not ruling state govt. He is ruling central govt where he is delivering his work for whole india not for karnataka only. The scheme which was introduced by him applies to whole india including karnataka. IIT is an additional benefit for karnataka.
Where as Mr Siddu is not ruling govt he rules karnataka state govt. and he has delivered many dourbhagyas such as savina bhagya, aathmahathye bhagya ,halle bhagya, adhikarigala savina bhagya, komu sangataneya rakshane bhagya, adhikarigala rajiname bhagya, raitha aathmahathye bhagya for whole karnataka.

Whatever happens all over India (West, Central & North east) is a clear sign that BJP (Modi wave) is still picking up with enough force whereas, Congress (Rahul) is
Disintegrating under Rahul's leadership. In Karnataka it is Siddaramaiah's leader ship is providing some breathing space to Rahul & his party. The remaining stronghold is only in Karnataka, all because of not the party name but Siddaramiah's efforts.
I feel that the election fight in Karnataka is directly between Siddaramaiah & BJP
Whatever harm & distress has been inflicted only due to monther & son company). It is too late to regret and just forget them.

What has Modi done for Karnataka ...

    Dear Jossy,

Modi had promised to get IIT to Karnataka during his 2014 Lok Sabha campaign, and he has fulfilled his promise, now we have IIT in Dharward and extension of new building is in progress. that was a sincere and good initiative by the PM Modi, we thank him for that. We were happy to see the progress when we visited Dharward campus as part of exchange student program from Australia.

In the past for so many years, we had Congress govt in Karnataka, we had several Congress ministers in Union govt at Centre & then in UPA, even we had Deve Gowda as our PM and none of them ever bothered to full fill this dream.

So for that we give three Cheers to Modi, and Dharward MP Prhalad Joshi.

It is a different story in Karnataka. All their lies and false promises and fekugiri won't work here. People are more educated and won't fall for false promises and lies.

They can't even do a leaflet without telling lies and false photographs. Even in international trust survey , Indias trust level has come down where as China's has gone up. More and more people see what fekuissm for what it is.
