Mangaluru: Congress MLAs Abhaychandra Jain, Mohiuddin Bava spar over ticket issue at prog

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Mar 1: The inauguration of the much-awaited 3D planetarium in Pilikula here on Thursday March 1 saw heated exchange of words between Congress MLAs Mohiuddin Bava of Mangaluru North and Abhaychandra Jain of Moodbidri, apparently over issue of party tickets in the upcoming elections.

It is learnt that just before the unveiling of the Swami Vivekananda 3D planetarium's name board, the two MLAs openly engaged in a quarrel even as people watched.

Apparently, the angry outburst pertained to issue of Congress ticket to mayor Kavita Sanil who is on the threshold of completing her term.

MLA Bava reportedly told MLA Abhaychadra Jain that as Kavita Sanil's term as mayor was coming to an end soon, she could be an aspirant for the ticket in Moodbidri constituency. However, Abhaychandra Jain reportedly lost patience when the name of his constituency was mentioned, and lashed out at Bava, who in turn responded in equal measure. The supporters who intervened immediately succeeded in pacifying both of them.

Abhaychandra Jain had expressed his anger openly with political leaders in the past. He had sparred with MLC Ivan D'Souza during the visit of chief minister Siddaramaiah three months ago.

The list of ticket aspirants is growing since Abhaychandra Jain had announced that he would not contest the elections and would make way for a young Congress candidate.

If Kavitha Sanil gets CONG ticket from Moodbidri then it will be tough task to umanath Kotian..otherwise BJP will win easily.

Umanath kotian established his own existence in mulki-moodabidiri irrespective of cast .... Hindutva his priority though he respects all the religions. His personality, simplicity, social work, strategy development and interest in saving Tulu language and culture would be more advantage for bjp to gain a vote from all the religious .

Who is BAVA to advise / decide for Moodbidri seat? There is Congress high command who are the decision makers!!! Does BAVA know that his candidature is GUARANTEED !!!! If so, why don't he offer his constituency to Kavita???? Where as, Jain's defeat is Certain if contested, then what right he has to say "MY CONSTITUENCY" Hence, in public both should not have behaved in such Uncivilised and Disgusting manner therefore Congress should punish the both by Denying the the Ticket!!!!

that's the problem.... these guys fighting for ticket and BJP is doing the required home work. Irrespective who contest from here... this time Moodabidri has decided to give BJP a chance. enough of congress era.... and now it's tug of war between... Jain, Ivan, Mithun and now Kavitha... what's going on.. Bava need not interfere here. he should worry about his constituency. If he want to give an opportunity to Kavitha, then he should step aside and give Mangalore North to her... instead he is talking about Moodabidri constituency.. how stupid... ayyo ayyo.

KAVITA IS FIT FOR PANCHAYAT SEAT. NOT FOR MLA. SHE HAS TO WORK FOR PARTY FOR ANOTHER 5 YEARS. IN POLITICS SHE IS BACHI ABAYA WILL NOT WIN THIS TIME BECAUSE OF HIS SHORT TEMPER .HIS RELATION WITH PUBLIC IS VERY BAD. CONGRESS SHOULD PROJECT iVAN OR MITHUN. NOT KAVITA.

Why MLA Bawa is batting for Mayor Kavita Sanil ?? Why not MLC Ivan D'Souza can get ticket to contest from Moodabidri constituency ??? Recently Christian Political organisation had a colourful Samavesha in Moodabidri and few of their Leaders openly asked or hinted their choice of contestant.

Don't worry guys. Abhayachandra Jain himself know that he will not win even if gets seat in Moodabidri constituency. Because he have created such a "reputation" among the people of his constituency.

No matter who will contest from Moodabidri constituency this time BJP will win in Moodabidri.

All are fake media and Bjps game plan otherwise Jain is done good job in moodabidre, and having good reputations, contesting election is his personal choice.
