Mangaluru, Feb 26: The Central Excise and Central Tax (GST) Commissionerate Mangaluru organized blood donation camp on Monday February 26 in its office premises at 7th floor, Trade Centre Building Mangaluru in collaboration with Red Cross Society Mangaluru.
The Commissionerate has been organizing blood donation camp every year to mark the occasion of Central Excise Day i.e. February 24 under the guidance of Dr M Subramanyam, commissioner. The response from the officers and staff of Customers, Central Excise and Central Tax departments and general public especially M/s Total Gas was overwhelming.
Totally 55 units of blood were donated.
The commissioner expressed his heartiest thanks to the Red Cross Society, Mangaluru and media personnel present on the occasion.
