Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru Feb 24: Chief Minister (CM) Siddaramaiah claimed in the Legislative Assembly on Saturday, February 24, that the public mood was in favour of the Congress and that he has conveyed this message to Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi recently when he had met him in Mysuru.

When the BJP members took objection to the CM mentioning PM Modi's name in the Assembly, Siddaramaiah said, "Just because I took Prime Minister’s name, it does not mean that I am disrespecting him,"

"When I told Modi that the Congress would come back to power, he was merely smiling," he added.

In the Legislative Council also, Siddaramaiah claimed that Congress party will come back power and he will continue as the CM.
