Kasargod, Feb 23: The investigating team arrested Arun (26), resident of Puliyannoor Cheetharlam, the main accused in murder of retired teacher P V Janaki, resident of Puliyannoor, Chimeni on Friday, February 23.

Arun had allegedly fled to Bahrain after the murder came to light. Police had taken help from Interpol to arrest him.

Members of Kerala based associations in Bahrain nabbed him and handed him over to the Indian embassy. He was brought by Air India flight via Abu Dhabi to Calicut airport this morning on Friday.

Bahrain Kerala tourist commission member Zubair Kannur was with him. He handed over Arun and his passport to Hosadurga police circle inspector C K Sunil Kumar who had come at the airport.

Arun was later brought to Chimeni police station for questioning. The police also took him to the house of Janaki and gathered details.

Arun has been working in Bahrain for the last two years and had come down on vacation recently. He had reportedly killed Janaki with the help of two other accomplices and fled to Bahrain on February 5 to evade arrest.

Police had arrested two other accused Vishakh (27) and Rinish (20), both residents of Chimeni Puliannur Cherkalam on February 22. All three have been produced in the court and are sent to judicial custody. Police said that they will be submitting a request for additional judicial custody for questioning.

Here I am not at all supporting the murder of a teacher. But the question arises, why his young man, has opted to murder his own teacher. Might be teacher has taken revenge and destroyed his ambition & career.

I had a very bad experience in 6th standard and refused to attend class of that teacher in spite of my good marks above 65 in those days where the questions were mostly subjective.

We wish we could, unfortunately we cannot take law into our own hands here, the wheels of justice are ever slow, process, due course and so on. Vigilantism might get us in trouble here! Good thinking.

Heartless animals. Well, I am not going to bed tonight believing that there would not be another horrible story from my mother land when I wake up at the crack of dawn.

Modi's acche din, do the crime and run to a foreign country. The police department does not have the guts to catch big fish like, ViMa, NiMo, LaMo, as they have good protection from the government. Dear voters 2019 kindly do not vote for Modi, if you don't want to see our country being sold.
