Bengaluru: Zero interference from Congress in Mohammed Nalapad assault case - Moily

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Feb 23: Veteran Congress leader and former Karnataka chief minister Veerappa Moily has denied charges that MLA NA Haris or the Congress party has intervened in the assault case in which Haris’ son Mohammed Nalapad Haris was involved.

Even though Nalapad Haris surrendered 36 hours after the crime, Moily says that there has been ‘Zero interference.’

“Let them show any instance where we have intervened,” he told NDTV.

Moily also denied embarrassment to the party as the son of the Congress MLA was involved. "There was no embarrassment. It has been dealt with accordingly with the law. I don't think he has been spared just because he is the son of a MLA of the Congress party. Nobody will be spared,” asserted Moily.

Moily also alleged that every time a person is killed in the state, BJP claims it is their person. “It is a very peculiar thing, even in case of Vidwath (the victim of the attack), they said he was BJP and immediately next minute Amit Shah said 'he's not BJP.' Like this we have seen many things. Family quarrel, the victim, they say is BJP man. The most unfortunate thing is they don't realise that disruption,” he said and added that the major part is played the by BJP and their Parivar. “Have you seen Congressman involved in any of these things? Zero,” said Moily.

Allegations that the State does not allow the money released by the Centre to reach people, was denied by Moily. “For Prime minister's Sadak Yojana, not even a pie has come in the four years. Even in the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA programme - the money is held up by the central government. It is absolutely false for them to allege this. Money is still due from the central government,” he said.

Speaking about Congress’s social media strategy, “We are more than a match on the social media. We are encouraged by the performances in Gujarat, Rajasthan and also by the by-elections in Karnataka. We will definitely beat these people who are no match to us in Karnataka,” he said.

Moily who is also Chairman of the Congress's manifesto Committee said that manifesto is being restructured in such a way there will be a district specific manifesto, regional specific manifesto and also the state specific manifesto.

The launch will take place between March 10 and 15 by AICC President Rahul Gandhi in Bengaluru, he added.

How can trust this jackal's words, did he not surrender Indian oil market to the Ambani. Did he not promote the yettinahola project to convert Mangalore into a desert.

The public will know the outcome of the case and judge whether there was zero interference or 10% interference.

Congress and bjpee are a curse to this nation.
